Coronavirus Quarantine

We are on week 2 of the Coronavirus Quarantine. It is the end of March. Schools are closed until the end of April

We did homeschool last week. This week is "Spring Break" We were supposed to go to Waldport and stay at the new coast house

But instead we are on a "stay at home" order. We can only leave house for grocery or gas or pharmacy.

Today was Tuesday, day 2 of spring break. Yesterday we had a lazy day - lot of video games and TV.

Today we had a lazy morning, played Monopoly, baked cinnamon rolls and then went to the park. The kids face timed with my parents today.

I feel normal when I get in the car and go somewhere. It felt good to drive to park . Kids played basketball there. 

No kids were at the park. It is a ghost town when I drive around.

There are some good things coming from the tragedy- people slowing down, families spending more time together. We eat all our meals at home. The kids help with chores and cook.

We start online school next week- April 1st. 

Abby face timed with a few friends tonight. Andrew is playing a lot of video games with friends from school. He zoomed with friends yesterday. It's a whole new world and whole new normal.
